NHTC

I called to schedule internet hookup in my shop last week and was given multiple dates/times for scheduling options. NHTC was very flexible with my schedule and scheduled my installation the following week. Today the technicians came out and were on time and extremely professional. Joey, Earl, John, and TJ did an excellent job which is what I’ve come to expect from my previous experiences with NHTC.

This is the first time in a long time that the employee was friendly. Ill start by saying since my moms stroke, I take care of the bill for her. A few months back, I called and told the young girl that I couldnt find the bill. She was rude when she asked me the 21 questions before allowing me.(password,pin#,favorite dogs name, ss#, ect.....) And im like here's the account number and the money. Why do i need to tell you all that? If I'm just trying to pay? Its not like im trying to charge snow boots for my chickens to someone else, I just want to pay my bill. She wouldn't tell me the amount, then proceeded to ask if i wanted to use the card on file? I asked, well idk, which card is that? SHE THEN WITHOUT HESITATION READ OFF THE CARD NUMBER😳😲. I kinda laughed and said yes that's the one.🤦‍♀️🤣 She wouldn't give me the amount being charged, I had to wait to get that from my bank. 🤔🤪This time was much better. We made small talk, and laughed. I was even told to, "have a great afternoon ". And sadly that almost never happens. So, NHTC, I didn't get her name, but the lady with short blonde hair that was working yesterday ,.... Thank her, she deserves it............... Thank you for your response, I know you all take the privacy policy serious. Which is why I was so surprised to have been told what the "CC # on file" was but not amount due. I was never told that my mom could add my name to the account . This was never about the the policy that I 100% agree with. This was about not getting the customer service that I felt was needed to someone who has been with yall since the 90's.

Nice people working there never had any issues with the staff or service, but I have applied 3 months in a row for the $30.00 discount through the low income acp program and even emailed them about my application as well as talking to someone and all they tell me to do is apply on their website yet I never see the discount or get a reply from someone about it, that is why I am changing internet services when I can find one.

Very Friendly and helpful staff. The fact that every customer invests in the company's stock automatically when they pay their bill is AMAZING! It really shows appreciation and what their customers mean to them! The ONLY down side is when I forget to pay my bill & have to wait till they reopen to regain services even after the bill is paid. (not an actual complaint)

They have the most kind and helpful staff I've ever seen with any company. I would pay more to stay with new hope telephone co op, than to switch to a cheaper phone/internet/cable company. I have always been treated with respect, kindness and got the best service and help than with any other company. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

We've had service with NHTC for four years now, since moving to this area. We're never disappointed with any of the employees--from the person who answers the phone to the tech who comes to the house. Everyone has always been super friendly, courteous, and helpful. Tech Support is excellent, with help provided over the phone sometimes, and in person other times. A tech is dispatched within a few hours--or less. We couldn't be more pleased with their service!
